  BARTMAN, Vera (Mrs. Walter) Peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at K.W. Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Vera (Reist) Bartman in her 93rd year of Kitchener. Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Bartman (1963). Loving mother of Paul and Linda Bartman of Richmond Hill and Keith Bartman of Kitchener. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Edgar and Helen Reist of Kincardine; Adele (Dolly) Holling and Caroline Johannes both of Elmira and Wilma Reist of Kitchener. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Addison and Laura Reist, three brothers Harvey (Orvilla), Lorne and Percy Reist and sister Alma Schweitzer and brothers-in-law Orval Holling and Harold Schweitzer. Vera was a long time faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Kitchener. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Friday, August 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Saturday transfer will be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Avenue, Kitchener for funeral service at 11 a.m. with The Reverend Dr. Roger Winger officiating. Interment at Elmira Union Cemetery. In her memory donations to Holy Cross Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. www.dreisingerfuneralhome.
