  Knechtel, Gary - On Saturday, December 18, 1976, Gary David Knechtel, aged 9 years, of Route 1, Breslau, near his home, due to a sledding accident. Beloved son of Glenn Knechtel and his mother, the former Jaret Inder; brother of Douglas, Kim, Timothy and Lisa; grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Knechtel of Route 1, Breslau, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Inder of Breslau; great-grandson of Mrs. Elizabeth Erb, of Route 1, Breslau. Gary was a student in Grade 3 at Breslau public school; a member and attended church and Sunday school at Bethany Missionary Church, and a member of the Christian Service Brigade. The body was resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon today (words missing) …. was held this afternoon at 2: 30 pm at Bethany Missionary Church. Interment was made in Woodland Cemetery, Rev. C.E. Hunking officiating.
