    • Henry Stroh - by Record Staff Writer - Elmira - Henry Stroh, 81, of 38 Riverside Drive W., Elmira, died Monday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Conestogo, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stroh. He was a member of St. James' Lutheran Church. He formerly owned and operated Stroh's Bakery and Grocery store in St. Jacobs. He retired in 1946 and had been a resident of St. Jacobs and Elmira for many years. He is survived by his wife, the former Clara E. Ritter, whom he married June 2, 1908, two sons, Harry E. of St. Jacobs and Russell H. of Galt; one daughter, Mrs. Harry O. (Florence) Huehn of Kitchener. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was the last surviving member of his family and was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. The body is at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor in Elmira until noon Thursday when removal will be made to St. James' Lutheran Church for funeral services at 3 pm. Interment will be in St. James' Lutheran Cemetery in St. Jacobs. Rev. H.W. Baetz, pastor of the church, will conduct the service.
