  Finn, John Henry, M.D. - Loving husband of Helen (Abernethy) Finn, passed away at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, Monday morning, March 3, 2008. He was loved and remembered by his sons, David of Montreal (and the late Pia, June, 2007) and grandchildren, Curtis and Kelly, Bruce and Barbara of Elmira, and granddaughter, Heather and her husband Eric Oh, of Ottawa and grandson, Robert and his fiancée Lynea Gould, also of Ottawa, Brian and Felicity of Wellesley and grandsons, Allen, henry, and Jesse and Stephen and Karen and granddaughter, Kimberly, who was Grandpa's favourite hockey player. John was predeceased by his parents, Captain Harry Finn (1951) and Kathleen (1999). Survived by his sister, Kathleen Tarlton of Scarborough. John graduated from University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1951. He practiced family medicine in Wellesley from 1952 to 1997. He loved his family, his medical practice, the family cottage in Killarney and his Labrador Retriever, Chocolate. At his request, cremation has taken place.
