Adella was one of the original founding members of the Waterloo Credit-Union. She had been very active throughtout her life. After taking a dressmaking and designing course in her younger years, she spent many years doing complete wedding ensembles, fine sewing and tailoring. Widowed at the early age of 38, she took a business course at Eulers. She wanted to go to university so she was tutorial for two years in English and grammar by Principal Neil MacEachern, of the Old Central School, in Waterloo. She worked as the First Medical Secretary for Dr. Pat Sharkey Sr. (now deceased). She went to University, obtained her social counselling degree and a minor in Abnormal Psychology. She did some counselling, after her courses. In her 60s, Adella did her Grade 10 piano with the late Professor George Ziegler, Toronto Conservatory of Music. She taught music as well. Adella had been a very active member and the eldest at St. Michael's Church. She played the piano, put on plays and was involved in many performances over the years. An active member of the Catholic Women's League for 50 years and prior to Christian Mothers at St. Louis Church, Waterloo. She started a study group some, 30 years ago of young married couples with children who to this day are fast and compassionate friends. A special thanks to all of them for their many kind deeds, actions and prayers. Adella gleaned a bit of philosophy from her mother's teachings, "Adjust to every situation and put things in God's hands." During her lifetime, Adella has touched the lives of many and there is much sadness for us all in saying "Goodbye". She will be missed. Mrs. Holle's family will receive friends at the Edward R.
