      At St. Mary's Hospital, on Saturday, March 29, 1975, after a brief illness, Stanley S. Weber, a resident of New Dundee, age 70 years. Mr. Weber was born in Waterloo Township near Kitchener, a son of the late Rev. Urias K. Weber and the former Magdalena Shoemaker, a resident of the Twin City area all his life, a member of the New Dundee United Brethren Church, formerly farmed near New Dundee for many years and latterly served as weed inspector for the Region of Waterloo. Surviving are his wife the former Nora Snyder; two daughters, Arlene (Mrs. George Weber) Atwood, and Margaret (Mrs. Keith Martin) of Winterbourne; two sons, David and Peter, both of Kitchener; three brothers, Howard of Kitchener, Edward and Paul of Waterloo, four sisters, Olive (Mrs. Irvin Eby) and Mary (Mrs. Maurice Plummer), both of Route 2, Waterloo, and Ruby and Edna Weber, both of Kitchener; 12 grandchildren also survive; predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Gordon. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, until 11 a.m., on Tuesday, when removal will be made to the New Dundee United Brethren Church, for the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Luke Reinstra officiating. Interment Union cemetery, New Dundee.
