  WHITELAW, Charles Of 623 Sherring St., Cambridge, on Sunday, Nov. 28, 1989, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Marie Kimpel; dear father of Pauline (Mrs. Victor Stortz) of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Christopher and Judith Ann; five brothers, Norman, Herman, Harold and Gerald, all of Cambridge and Arthur of Waterloo; three sisters, Mae (Mrs. George Schnarr) and Marjorie (Mrs. John Becker), both of Kitchener and Helen (Mrs. Roy Lidstone) of Cambridge. Predeceased by two brothers, Jim and Albert and one sister, Ruth. Mr. Whitelaw was born in Cambridge (Preston) and lived there all his life. He was a retired foreman of Spring Print of Brantford and a volunteer fireman in Cambridge (Preston) for 18 years. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Tuesday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday, Nov. 29, 1989, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.
