  ATKINS, John Of Preston, whose death occurred on May 10, 1972. Was engaged in the publishing business for most of his earlier years; weekly news-papers: The Norwest Farmer, The Canadian Magazine, as an administrator of printing and publishing for the Wartime Prices and Trade Board. He became well known right across Canada and was awarded an O.B.E. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Miller of Preston, a brother, George C. Atkins of Oakville, a sister, Mrs. Jean Good of Toronto. Predeceased by three brothers, Lorne, Bert and Barnette. A family service was held at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home with interment in Parklawn cemetery, Preston.
