- CAUGHT IN MACHINE, WOMAN DIES CAMBRIDGE
A 59-year old Cambridge woman, was killed by a machine, Monday, in a plant where she had worked for 37 years. Margaret Dopp, of 566 Hamilton St. was believed to have died almost instantly, after she became entangled in a reel and was pulled into a warping machine, used in the manufacture of fabrics, at the Dobbie Industries plant, 142 Water St. N. Miss Dopp was working alone when the accident occurred. The time of her death was placed by company officials at sometime between 11 a.m. and noon. In a similar accident 10 years ago, Miss Dopp was pulled into a machine and had her arm broken.

DOPP, Margaret
As the result of an industrial accident, at 160 Water St. N., Cambridge (Galt), Margaret Dopp of 566 Hamilton St., Cambridge (Preston), in her 60th year. Loving sister of George, Linus and Mrs. Edna Howlett, all of Cambridge (Preston), Mrs. Lillian Parks, of Toronto. Miss Dopp was born in Cambridge (Preston) and lived there all her life. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church and had been employed as a warper, at Dobbie Industries. She is resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston), until Thursday morning, then to St. Clement's RC Church, for funeral mass, at 10 a.m. Interment Park Lawn cemetery, Cambridge.
