Of 250 Duke St., Preston Cambridge, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, Wednesday, March 26, 1975, Edith Chipman, in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Stanley Vokey; dear mother of Ernest and Calvin of Belle Island, Nfld., Randall of Preston, Gordon of Galt, Evelyn (Mrs. John Regular) of Hearts Content, Nfld., Julie (Mrs. Frank Murphyi of Galt, Shirley (Mrs. Merrill Hedd) of Labrador City, Mid., Ruby (Mrs. George McCartney), Viola (Mrs. Lloyd Normore) and Mrs. Rowena of Preston; also survived by one brother, Arthur Chipman of Boston, Mass. and 28 grandchildren. Mrs. Vokey was born in Spanish Bay, Nfld. and had been a resident of Preston, for 11 years, coming from Belle Island,_Nfid. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner Queenston Rd. and Argyle St., Preston, Cambridge until noon Saturday, then to St. John's Anglican Church, for funeral service, at 2 p.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.
