      Passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at the Grand River Freeport Hospital, in her 84th year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Fred Higgins, her parents John and Mary Rusiecki and her sister Stella Krupa. Dear mother of Andy (Jill Powell) of Cambridge, Fred Jr. of Kitchener, and Rick of Burlington. Dear grandmother of Fallon, Carley, and Jillian. She was born in Preston and a resident here all her life. Vicky was a member of St. Clement's Church and a member of the Catholic Women's League. She will be fondly remembered as a great and caring mother and grandmother. Vicky's family received relatives and friends at the BARTHEL FUNERAL HOME, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, 519-653-3251 on Sunday, April 21, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Parish Prayers were at 7: 00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge, on Monday, April 22nd at 10: 00 a.m. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
