    • BARRY, James Frederick - At Golden Years Nursing Home in Cambridge, on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, in his 78th year.

      Beloved husband of Ann for 52 years. Much loved father to Robert, Wayne and his wife Janet, Jamie and his longtime companion Kathy, John and his wife Debbie, Bill and his fiancé Brenda, Joanne McKenzie and Wendy Solonik, and her husband Jim. Special Grandfather to Gregory and his wife Amanda, David and his fiancé Cara, Patricia, Melissa, Amber, Kari-Lynn, Justin and his great-granddaughter Tigian. Always remembered by his brother Gordon and his wife Rose, and his step-sister Thelma Dupuis and her husband Bud, and many nieces and nephews.

      Predeceased by his parents Garett and Margaret Barry, and his step-father Gordon Pooley.

      Jim was born in Toronto and moved to Cambridge 65 years ago and was retired from the Ford Motor Company in Oakville. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church and a Navy Vet and longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126.

      At the request of the Deceased cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.

      As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home, (519-653-3251).
