  DURNFORD, Ruth Vida Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Wellington Hospice on December 31, 2011, in her 76 year. Loving wife of 50 years to Gilbert. Cherished mom to Ken (Tina) Durnford and Cheryl Durnford. Forever missed Nan to Trisha (Bill) Van Arragon, Ashley (Wes) Durnford and Anthony (Megan) Moore. Dearly loved Nan to three Great-grandchildren, Joshua, Cameron and Jacob. Ruth will always be remembered by sister, Catherine Lazure and brothers Victor Atkins and Paul Atkins. Predeceased by siblings, Leonard Atkins and Marion Fitzgerald. Ruth enjoyed playing euchre and loved spending time with her family. Family and friends will be received for visitation on Tuesday, January 3rd from 7-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, January 4th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at COUTTS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5th at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 94 ELGIN ST S., Cambridge, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
