    • McMENEMY, Daniel John

      Passed away peacefully, at St. Andrews Terrace on Monday, July 9, 2012, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Maria Long. Loving father of Maria, Angela, Paul, Patricia, Brenda and Daniel. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Michael and Margaret McMenemy and his brother James. Daniel was born in Glasgow, Scotland and has lived in Cambridge, for 46 yrs. A member of United Association of plumbers, steam fitters and welders local 527. Served with the Blackwatch 6th British Airborn Division 7th parachute battalion. A member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Canadian Airborne Association and has decorations for service, in WW II and active duty in Palestine. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Wednesday, July 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory's R. C. Church on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 10 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
