    • KNECHTEL, Lorraine - Died on Sunday, Feb. 5, 1995, in her 82nd year, at K-W Hospital, of Waterloo. Mrs. Knechtel was born in Kelowna, B.C., an active member of First United Church since 1950. A member of the United Church Women, the Granite Club and the University Club. Beloved wife of Willard (Bill) Knechtel; dear mother of Robert (Bob) and his wife Barbara of Kitchener, Dr. John and his wife Rosemary of Ancaster and special daughters, Shirley and Norma; loving grandmother of Laurie, Brad, Andrew, Chris and Steve. Will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law, Ross Knechtel Sr. and his late wife Iva and remembered by Helen Woodside, both of Guelph and nieces, Donna and Sonya Ivey. She is remembered by many special friends who she loved and supported over the years. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Esther Ivey and a brother, Donald Ivey and his wife Helen. Mrs. Knechtel's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First United Church, Waterloo. The Rev. Judy Keenan Harris officiating. Cremation with interment at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. Donations to First United Church, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the Lord in everything you do and He will show you the right way." Proverbs 3 V: 5-6 (Good News Bible). We will remember her for her love of family, friends, birds and life.
