- Mary Harttung, 38, of 264 Albert St., Waterloo, hostess at the Waterloo Lutheran University dining hall for the past eight years, died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital after an illness of seven weeks. Born Dec. 5, 1925, in Kitchener, she was a daughter of John Harttung and the late Alma Fatum. A member of Bethel Baptist Church, she was also a member of the Women's Missionary Society of that church. Surviving besides her father are three brothers, Roland of Kitchener, Payson of Alberta and Jack of Guelph and two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Betty) Foerster of Waterloo and Mrs. Roy (Ruth) Lucas of Kitchener. The body is at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home until Monday at 2 p.m. when removal will be made to Bethel Baptist Church for the funeral at 3: 30 p.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
