    • KNECHTEL, Mary Christine (nee Perrin) - Suddenly, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, January 12, 2009, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Orval for 65 years. Cherished mother of Betty Primeau and her husband Jim, Eleanor Schraud and her husband Klaus and James Knechtel. Predeceased by her son, Bill (February 1995). Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Shelley, Duane, Tyler and Jennifer and by great-grandchildren, Madelaine and Elijah. Survived by brother, Charles. Mary was a longtime member of Roseville United Brethren Church. Friends will be received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held from Roseville United Brethren in Christ Church on Thursday at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at the church hall.
