  SCHLUETER, Mrs. Oscar (Edith) - Peacefully, on Saturday, Jan. 14, 1989, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Edith Eileen Schlueter, of 105 Brown St. Wellesley. Edith was born in Waterloo Township, 65 years ago. She was a daughter of the late William Carey and the late Ida Reist. Edith was a member of St. Agatha RC Church; was also active in the Catholic Women's League of the church. She was also a member of the Wellesley Jolly Oldsters. Beloved wife of Oscar F. Schlueter of Wellesley, dear mother of Michael and his wife Beverly Schlueter of RR 1, Gadshill; dear sister of Herbert and his wife Rita Carey of RR 2, Baden, William and his wife Alice Carey of Kitchener, Jerome and his wife Marie Carey of Waterloo, Aloysius Carey of Waterloo, Margaret and her husband David Diebold of RR 3, Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Schlueter. She was predeceased by one son, Patrick; two brothers, George and James; and one sister, Marie Kurt. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends on Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 10 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agatha RC Church at 10: 30. Spring interment in the St. Agatha RC Cemetery.
