    • APPLEBY, Roy Edward - The family of Roy Appleby sadly announces his passing on Sunday, April 10, 2005, at St. Luke's Place in Cambridge. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Allan and daughter, Joan. He also leaves six grandchildren, Robert, Crystal, Norene, Dawn, Lisa, and Tanya, their spouses and nine great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Kyle, Alyssa, Jessica, Samantha, Taylor, Dillon, Even and Rhys as well as several nieces and nephews. Roy was born December 31, 1924 in Galt, Ontario and worked for many years for Taylor Fuels. Roy enjoyed working for Taylor's and traveled the world twice with Ed Taylor. He had lots of stories to tell about those world tours and fascinated the family with his tales. The family would like to thank everyone at St. Luke's Place for the care and concern shown to Roy for many years. Visitation will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April, 14, 2005 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
