With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful, passing of our loving mother during the setting of the sun, on Thursday, March 22, 2012. Mom entered into the Gates of Heaven to be with her beloved, late husband, our Dad, William Rose (1991). Proud mother of Wendy (Bill) Mortimer, Valerie (Mike) Tremblett, Karen (Joe) Haughey, William Rose, Cindy (Andy) Ferguson. Cherished and fun loving "Nan" to Kyle (Krysten) Mortimer, Kory and his girlfriend Nicole, Michael, Christopher, Sheena and her boyfriend Matt, Daniel, Kara, Brandon and Ian. Bertha was born on Bell Island, NFLD, on June 13, 1933. Predeceased by her parents Pricella (1941) and Richard Neil (1979) and special "Auntie" Susannah Neil (1987). Survived by her precious sister, Phyllis and as Mom would say "there is no one like Lloyd Drover" (her brother-in-law), who was always by mom's side and will remain in OUR hearts FOREVER! Survived by her brothers and sisters; John (Marcy), Gordon (Carolyn), Lorraine (Jim), Lydia (Harry), Randell, Dorothy (Terry), Fred (Lorrine), Ralph (Lorraine), Marlene (Brian), sister-in-law, Monique Rose and brothers-in laws, Freeman King and Art Blackmore. Predeceased by brothers; Erle (Joyce), Charles (Nadine). Bertha will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom, we will NEVER forget Fredie Delahunty, your special cousin "more like a sister", shopping buddy, chauffer and BEST FRIEND FOREVER!! Family and friends are invited to T. Little Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, for visitation on Monday, March 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 27th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
