  N. E. Lashbrook PRESTON - Funeral service was to be held at 3 p.m today, for Norman Edward Lashbrook, RR 1, Galt, who died Thursday, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He was born at London, Ont. and had resided in Galt, for 40 years. Mr. Lashbrook was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Galt. He was a retired shoe manufacturer. He enlisted in 1918 with the Royal Flying Corps, then transferred to the Royal Air Force. In 1939 he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served as a staff pilot, until 1945. Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred Bigger; three daughters, Mrs. James (Patricia) Riddell of Preston, Mrs. Garry (Barbara) Dines of Breslau and Mrs. Jack (Norma) Stumpf of Galt and four grandchildren. The body was at Little's Funeral Home, for the service. Burial was to follow at Mount View Cemetery, Galt. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 17 Sep 1960 pg 5
