  JONES, Winnifred Mary (Ross) Died, May 1, 1998, at her daughter's home in Cambridge. Formerly living in Toronto, she and her lifelong mate, Stephen Harold Jones (now at Riverbend Place, Cambridge) moved to Cambridge, earlier this year, because of health problems. Winnifred leaves her three beloved daughters, Dr. Charmaine Jones (Cambridge), Dr. Marlene Jones (Clagary) and Dr. Candy (Jones) Fraser (Vermont). "Winnie" was a breast cancer survivor who 35 years ago decided that the mind and spirit, were very important in the fight against cancer. Her survivors would like to honour that spirit by suggesting that any contributions in her memory go to "Circle of Friends", an ever growing peer support group of Cambridge women, who have intimate knowledge of living with breast cancer.
