  JOHNSON, Evaline Victoria (nee Wright) - Born November 29, 1901 in Liverpool, England, she grew up in Belfast, Northern Ireland and as a young woman Eva came to Galt, Ontario, where she met and married, Henry Herbert Johnson, who was Captain of the Galt Fire Department, when he died, in 1961. Eva had two sons, Henry and John. She was predeceased by her son, John; her brothers, George, Jim, Bill, John and Harold and her sisters, Elizabeth (Mercer) and Louie (Price). Eva was Past Regent of the Waterloo Chapter, I.O.D.E., Past District Deputy Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Past President of the Waterloo Girl Guide Association, a member of Trinity Anglican Church, where she sang in the choir, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital and a Girl Guide Captain. In 1987 she moved to Toronto with her son, Henry and then moved with him in 1999, to Windsor. She died peacefully in her sleep, at Windsor Regional Hospital, early on Saturday morning, December 4, 2004. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Friday, December 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 12 Blair Rd., Cambridge on Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 11 a.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
