    • BEAM, Alfred H. - Passed away, on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, Alfred Beam of Baden. He was born 85 years ago in Bertie township on July 10, 1919 a son of the late Menno and Mabel (Krafft) Beam. Alfred was a member of North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church. He was known locally as the "honey man".

      Loving father of Gerald and his wife Emily Beam of Alberta, Helen and her husband Roy Bankert of Port Colborne and Harriet and her husband Allan Bankert of Baden. Sadly missed by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by brothers Irvin and Jean Beam of Ridgeway, Lewis and Doreen Beam of Stevensville and by sisters-in-law, Mary Beam of Fort Erie and Mildred Beam of New Hamburg.

      Predeceased by his wives, Hattie Young (1955), Alice Steiner (1989) and Ruth Beers (2001); grandson, Marvin Beam (2001) and brothers, Lester and Vernon.
      Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The fu-neral service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at North Easthope Reformed Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. with Ed Bankert officiating. Burial to follow in Wilmot Reformed Mennonite Cemetery, Baden.
