  LEIDY, Nellie Bernice Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre, Cambridge, on Thursday April 9, 2009, in her 83 year. Nellie Leidy (Heer), formly of Kitchener. Beloved wife of Charles Leidy. Dear mother of Terry Leidy (Dianne), Paul Leidy (Kathy), Susan Elmes (Gary), Shelly Hewer (Roger), Laurie Gogas, Jeff Leidy (Cindy) and Wendy Jepma (Doug). Loving grandma of Christopher, Becky, Brian, Brad, Sarah, Mark, Katie, Ashley, Amanda, Matthew, Karley, Cody, Kyle, Erica, Lindsay and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Marshall Leidy (1997); her parents, William and Christina Heer; her three brothers and two sisters. Nellie cherished her family and in her later years, treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nellie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, St. George Branch 605 and loved to play cards and bowl. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, today (Saturday), from 2-4 p.m. and Sunday, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Monday, April 13, 2009, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery.
