  Tischart, Harold Joseph (Veteran WW II) Passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Gladys. Loving father of Trudy and her husband Kelly Zadow and the late Terry Tischart, Tanis Wolf and Susan Tischart. Dear father-in-law of Agnes, Tanya, Lori, Bob and Cas. Proud grandfather of Jason (Deanna), Janene (Matthew), Joshua (Keri), Rebecca, Sarah (Scott), Jamie (Ange) and the late Erin. Great grandfather of 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Survived by his sister-in-law Muriel. Harold's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish Prayers 8: 30 p.m. Tuesday. Prayers will also be offered at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 9: 50 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Michael's Catholic Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10: 30 a.m. Interment Parkview Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
