- NUNN, William David - Peacefully, on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at the Hilltop Nursing Home, at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Edith Nunn (Baulkwell). Dear father of Sandra Graves and her husband Arnold of Cambridge, Barb Simmonds and her husband Les of Woodstock, and David and his wife, the late Cathy Nunn. William will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jamie Keagan, Karen Ann Fry and her husband Craig, Robert Simmonds and his wife Angela Barnes-Simmonds, Sandra Simmonds, Deborah Woytta and her husband Joe, and William Simmonds as well as great-grandchildren, Cathy, Jocelyn, Alex, Logan, Emily, Trent, Rachel, and Paige. William was predeceased by his brothers, George and John. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Sunday July 25, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with a Legion Service being held at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 26, 2004 at 2 p.m. from the Trinity Anglican Church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Veteran Affairs would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to say a special thank you to the Hilltop Nursing Home for their excellent care and compassion

WILLIAM NUNN
Pte. Wm. D. Nunn is serving in the Canadian Army and is now stationed in Stratford. His wife and daughter reside at 8 St. Andrews street and he is a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Nunn, 8 St. Andrews street, who have another son, Bert, in the navy. Born in Galt, March 28, 1920, Pte. Nunn went to Manchester school and was a welder at Galt Metal Industries before he went into service last February. Pte. Nunn's father and six uncles served in the First Great War. His religious denomination is Anglican, Pte. Nunn was a member of the 2nd (R) Bn. H.L.I. of C.
