  JONAS, Leone (nee Baty) Peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, on Wednesday, June 26, 1996, in her 79th year. Leone was a retired employee of K-W Hospital and she was also a longtime member of St. Francis RC Church. Sadly missed by her sisters, Shirley Heinbecker, Tessa Hanley, Alma Wakeford and Violet Bateman. Lovingly remembered by her several nieces and nephews and many god-children, who were always in her thoughts and deeds. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Leonard in 1953; her brother, Laverne Baty and her sister, Dorcas Osier. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A vigil service will be held on Friday, at 4 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Francis RC Church, at 10: 30 a.m., Father Alex McCauley officiating.
