  William Dotzert Passed Away The sad death took place this morning at 5.30 a.m. of William Dotzert, aged 59 years, 9 months and 23 days. The deceased was born in North Easthopo and was will and favorably known. For a number of years he carried on a teamster business in Waterloo, later being employed in the G.T.R. freight sheds up to a few months ago when he was forced to lay off work. He gradually became worse and his death was not unexpected. To mourn his sad demise he leaves a sorrowing widow; 3 daughters, viz., Adeline, Alberta, Luella, Alma and Mrs. Gordon Raymond (Kitchener), and 3 sons, Harold at home, Edwin, (Breslau), and Clayton with the 118th Batt. in France. One brother, David Amulrie, and 6 sisters, Mrs. Studen, Ohio; Mrs. Bucher, Ohio; Mrs. Kleinkneclit, New Hamburg; Mrs. Roth, New Hamburg; Mrs. Rock, Lisbon, and Mrs. Yost. Kingwood, also survive. The funeral will be held from the residence, Foundry Street, on Saturday, July 7th, at 2.30 p.m. to Mt. Hope Cemetery for interment. The News Record 4 Jul 1917 pg 1
