- Man Injured By Runaway Horse Dies
Struck down by a runaway milk-wagon horse on July 24, Norman Heimpel, 56, of 200 Benton St., died of injuries today in Toronto General Hospital.
The horse, in its headlong flight through the city, bowled Mr. Heimpel over at King and Victoria Streets, and the wagon wheels passed over him.
Suffered Skull Fracture
He was admitted to hospital suffering a skull fracture and face cuts.
In that same dash, the bolting horse fled from the corner of King and Mt. Hope Streets and clipped three cars as well as striking Mr. Heimpel before coming to a halt.
Born Dec, 21, 1893, at Hesson Road, Mr. Heimpel was a son of the late Valentine Heimpel and the former Elizabeth Heinrich.
He was employed at Merchants Rubber factory here. He attended St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Family Survives Besides his wife, the former Elma Huehn, whom he married at Heidelberg on Feb. 24„1914, he Is survived by one son, Oliver of Kitchener; and one daughter, Mrs. Alex (Elsie) Fehrenbach, also of Kitchener; and one granddaughter.
Private funeral service for the relatives will be held Monday, 1:45 p.m., at the Schreiter Sand-rock Funeral Home with public service in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dr. H. T. Lehmann officiating. Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery. The body is resting at the funeral home.

Injuries By Horse Prove Fatal To Man
Norman Heimpel, 56, of 200 Benton St., Kitchener, died of injuries late last week, which he received last July 24, from a run- away horse. He was in Toronto General hospital since the accident, suffering from skull fracture and face cuts.
The horse, drawing a milk wagon bolted from King and Mt. Hope Streets, clipping three cars, and running down Heimpel, before stopping. Surviving are his wife, the former Elma Hueuhn of Heidelberg: a son Oliver of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs. Alex (Elsie) Fehrenbach, Kitchener, and one grand- daughter.
