  Susannah Reist, "the youngest daughter, was born August 15th, 1858. She was married to Philip Kurtz who died September 2nd, 1884. They resided on the old 'Stafford Farm' now owned by Rev. Amos Eby, where he died. The widow has her home with her mother who resides at Shantz Station. She has had a family of three children" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
