Married to Melissa Shoemaker in December 1901. Survivors: his wife and 5 children (Ella-Mrs. Arthur Wagner, Angus, Ivan, Clarence, and Cecil). Member of the Bethel Church of Elora, where funeral services were held Oct. 30 in charge of Newton L. Gingerich, assisted by Henry F. Martin. Interment in the Bethel Cemetery.
