    • Obituary of Dorothy Wheeler

      It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Wheeler (nee Linseman) at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the age of 91.

      Predeceased by her beloved husband, John (Jack) Wheeler on June 27, 2006. Dorothy is survived by her son, Keith Wheeler and wife Kathleen; daughters, Sandra Karges and husband Mike and Wendy Baetz and husband Darryl. Also survived by her brother, Ronald Linseman and sister-in-law, Inez Garibaldi. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Sheryl Lemon (Craig), Deborah Sticklend (Vince), Andrew Karges (Melissa), Daniel Wheeler, Jill Whittrick (Mark), Angela Skipp (Paul) and great-grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Liam, Grayson, Rachael, Aaron, Jack, Molly, and Emma.

      Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Charlotte (nee Busch) Linseman; and brothers and sisters, Carl Linseman, Francis Rivet, Marie Linseman, Margaret Kropf, Gerald Linseman, Jerry Linseman, and Royetta Birmingham.

      Dorothy's family would like to thank the staff at Pinehaven Nursing Home for the compassionate care given to our mother.

      The family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, February 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Phil Reilly, C.R. as celebrant. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, followed by a reception in the funeral home's Fireside Reception.
