    • Magdalena Shoemaker, "youngest in family, was born October 14th, 1879. She is home with her father and is a great favorite among all the members of her father's and her grandfather's family. She used to be kind of a pet with some of the teachers in school."

      Mrs. Urias K. Weber, 78, of 142 Courtland Ave. East, died yesterday in the K-W Hospital. The wife of Rev. Urias K. Weber, she was a native of Waterloo Township. The former Magdalena Shoemaker, she was last surviving member of her family. A charter member of the church, Mrs. Weber was also a member of the Women's Missionary Association. She and Rev. Mr. Weber were married in 1899 in Kitchener. Surviving are five sons and four daughters. They are Gordon and Howard of Kitchener, Stanley of New Dundee, Edward of Waterloo and Paul of Oakville, and Mrs. Irvin (Olive) Eby, Miss Ruby Weber and Miss Edna Weber, all of Kitchener, and Mrs. Maurice (Mary) Plummer of Waterloo. A son, Harold, predeceased her. There are 23 granchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Thursday at 1 p. m. when removal will be made to the church where a service will be conducted at 3 p. m. by Rev. Wilfred Ulrich, pastor. Contributions to the Women's Missionary Society of the church will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
