      Suddenly, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital in Cambridge, on Sunday morning, October 27, 1974, of R. R. #2, Hespeler (Puslinch Lake), in his 48th year. Son of Mrs. Mary Wiens (Nee Dick) of St. Catharines and the late Jacob Peter Wiens. Husband of Isabel Crowe. Father of Paul of Galt; Terry of Victoria, BC; David of Hespeler; and Miss Patricia, at home. Also survived by four brothers, Edward of St. Catharines; Ernest of Cambridge; John of Barrie's Bay; George of Kingston; a sister, Elsie (Mrs. Eric Dyck) of Cambridge; and two grandchildren. Born in Kitchener, he had lived at Puslinch Lake for the past nineteen years. Mr. Wiens served with the Royal Canadian Navy, was past-president of the Hespeler Minor Hockey Association and an Ontario Minor Hockey Association referee for many years. He was employed as a quality control advisor with McGraw Edison of Canada. Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd. , Hespeler, thence to St. Luke's United Church for service on Wed. , Oct. 30 at 2. Interment New Hope Cemetery in Cambridge (Hespeler).
