  George Dietz After a short illness, George Dietz of Wellesley, Ont., died at his home Tuesday, January 15th, 1929. R. Dietz came to Ontario when he was thirteen years of age, emigrating from Grebenau, in the province of Alsfeld, in the Grand Duchy of Hesse-Darmatadt, Germany, where he was born April 14th, 1851, and later baptized. He resided with friends in Wilmot township until his parents also emigrated to Ontario, about a year later. With them he remained a number of years, during which time he was confirmed, and later was married to Anna Quehl of North Easthope at Petersburg in 1877. A few years afterward Mr. Dietz and his family moved to Wellesley where he has since resided, respected and loved by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his death his widow, Mrs. Anna U. Dietz; four sons and two daughters, Henry Dietz and Mrs. John Yeat, both of Kitchener, Mrs. George Daer of Goderich, and Edward Dietz, William Dietz and George Dietz of Wellesley, nine grandchildren and one brother, Henry Dietz of Waterloo. The funeral will take place next Friday at two o'clock from his late residence, thence to St. Paul's Lutheran church (Mo. Syn.) of which he was a member as long as he resided in Wellesley. Interment will be made in St. Paul's Cemetery.
