  RHODEY, William J. At Freeport Hospital, on March 19, 1979, following a lengthy illness, William John Rhodey, age 70 years, of 108 Samuel St. He was born in Dickie Settlement; son of the late John W. Rhodey and Mary Atchison; beloved husband of the former Lena Peacock; dear father of George of Liberia, Verdun of Waterloo, David of Edmonton, James of Kitchener, Mrs. Bruce (Mary) Harmer of Kitchener; brother of George, of Route 2, Cambridge (G), Ernest of Cambridge (G) and Mrs. William (Ella) Read of Route 2, Cambridge (G). Eleven grandchildren also survive. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Edith Cox, second wife Lauretta McKirdy and his parents. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m., today.
