    • In Loving Memory Died At Bridgeport, August 10th, 1911, Bessie Veitch, Beloved wife of J.D. Pomeroy, Aged 39 years, 6 months and 21 days. The Funeral Will take place from the residence, Bridgeport, on Sunday, August 13th, at 2 o'clock p.m., to Winterbourne cemetery for interment. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation.

      The funeral of the late Mrs. Jno. Pomeroy, of Bridgeport was held on Sunday afternoon at 4 p. m. The de ceased was well known and highly respected in our village as they resided here for a short time some years ago. She had only been ill with typhoid fever for a few days. She leaves to mourn her loss a sorrowing husband and three children.

      MRS. J. POMEROY,

      The numerous friends of Mrs. Pomeroy, beloved wife of Principal J. B. Pomeroy, of the Margaret Ave., School, will deeply regret to hear of her death which took place at her residence, Bridgeport Thursday evening. Mrs. Pomeroy had been in good health up to two weeks ago, when she became ill with symptoms of typhoid fever. Notwithstanding the best nursing and medical care she gradually sank until death relieved her sufferings on Thursday evening.

      The funeral will take place from the residence, Bridgeport on Sunday, August 13th at two o'clock b. m. to Winterbourne cemetery for internment.

      Mrs. Pomeroy, whose matden name was Bessie Veitch, was the youngest daughter of the late James Veitch. of Roseville. She was married to Mr. Pomeroy seventeen years ago. union being blessed with three children, two girls and one boy, Margaretta, Eva and Lloyd MacKenzie, the latter being but ten months of age. Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her loss four brothers and one sister, viz: (Dr.) George, Port Elgin, Walter, Winter- bourne, Robert and Andrew, Roseville, Mrs. Wm. Hamilton, Roseville. Mrs. Pomeroy was a faithful and consistent member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Berlin.
