Died at St. Jacobs, on Saturday, May 31, 1924. Rachel Nicolai, wife of Jacob Kaufman, aged 74 years, 9 months and 12 days. The funeral will be held from her late residence at St. Jacobs, on Tuesday, June 3, 1924, at 2: 00 o`clock p.m., from there to the Evangelical church for service, and thence to the Evangelical cemetery, for interment. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation.

St. Jacobs There died at St. Jacobs on Saturday May 31, Rachel, wife of Jacob Kaufman, after a short illness of acute pneumonia. The late Mrs. Kaufman was born in Germany on Aug. 12, 1849, and was nearly 75 years of age. She came with her parents to this country when one year old and resided in this neighbourhood the rest of her life. She leaves to mourn her loss a sorrowing husband, and four children, Mrs. Jno. Westfall, Elmira, Edward of Bamberg, Franklin near Kitchener and Anna at home. Many friends will also regret her demise. She was a faithful member of the Evangelical church during the last 59 years. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. on Tuesday from her late residence to the Evangelical church, thence to the cemetery for interment. The community extends their sincere sympathy to the bereaved.
