      A. J. Ruggle

      The sudden death of A. J. Ruggle general merchant of Floradale, was a shock to many friends in Elmira and the neighborhood where he was well and favorably known having conducted the store there for the past fifty years. The deceased was born in Switzerland and came to Canada with his parents when eleven years old and settled in Floradale where his death occurred. He was 63 years of age. In the year 1900 he was married to Mary Elizabeth Dietrich at Goderich who survives with two sons, Edward. at home, and Frank of Toronto and one sister Mrs. T. Ford of Kitchener and one brother, T. J. Ruggle of Toronto.

      The funeral will be held from his late residence in Floradale on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock to Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener, for burial. Rev. E. Becker of Elmira will officiate.
