- BREATHED WHEN READY FOR BURIAL
Child Almost Interred Alive at Berlin, Ont.
WATCHING FATHER STARTLED
Youngster Well Twelve Hours After Death Was Supposed to Have Taken Place.
Berlin. Ont., Feb. 3. - Joseph Charles child of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Joseph Uryeous, Assyrians, breathed its last, as everyone believed. yesterday afternoon. after & brief illness. The remains were prepared for burial. and arrangements a made for the funeral.
The father sat up during the night with the body and was startled to hear a week gasp for breath. Looking closely at the child he noticed signs of returning life. Restoratives were applied at 3.30 this morning, and 12 hours after its apparent death the child seemed to be as well as ever. The case is to say the least, a puzzling one.
