  Ernest Filshie Cuthbertson - Ernest Filshie Cuthbertson of Oshawa passed away at Oshawa General Hospital on Sunday, May 24th. He was in his 86th year. Born in Ayr he was a son of the late Robert Cuthbertson and Janet Filshie. As a young man he worked at R. G. Lindsay Feed Mill, Ayr (now Co-Op). In the late 1920's he moved to Oshawa where he joined the purchasing department of General Motors Chev. division. He was a past master of Ayr Masonic Lodge. Survived by his wife Mary Edna Manson; a daughter Mrs. Keith (Joan) Sproule of Burlington; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister Miss Marion Cuthbertson of Oshawa. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home, Oshawa. Burial at approximately 12: 30 .Thursday in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News May 27 1981 pg 6
