    • Anton Weber Another 100-year-old

      Mr. Anton Weber, who lives near Bloomingdale, was, according to his information, born May 27, 1801 in Saarburg, Lothringen. He emigrated to Canada in 1827, married in 1834 and settled in Wilmot Township, somewhat west of the present village of Baden. He had a family of three sons and four daughters. His wife died in 1882 and since then, he has found a home with his daughter, Elisabeth Rellinger, near Bloomingdale. He is still healthy and active, walks without a cane. and still has a good memory.
