    • Henry Oberer

      Henry Oberer, 79, died at the K-W Hospital at five o'clock this morning following a brief illness. The deceased was born March 14, 1857, in Wilmot Township. He was twice married, his first wife having predeceased him 35 years ago.

      He is survived by his second wife, four sons and three daughters, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The children are John Oberer, Freeport, William, New Dundee, Ezra, Brandon, Man., Edgar, Kitchener, Mrs. Andrew Bell and Mrs. Franklin McDonald, both of Bright, and Mrs. Simon Heer, Kitchener.

      The funeral will be held privately from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Simon Heer, 89 Chapel Street at 2 pm Sunday to the Wilmot Centre Evangelical Church for service at 3 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Wilmot Centre Cemetery. The remains will rest at the Ratz-Bechtel funeral Home until Saturday noon when they will be removed to the residence.
