    • Mrs. Mary Helen Hunt Passes - Mrs. Mary Helen (Hicks) Hunt of 242 Highway 40 Corunna, passed away in Sarnia General Hospital, on Sunday. She was 93. Mrs. Hunt was the widow of John Melvin Hunt. The late Mr. Hunt operated a feed and coal business in Ayr many years ago. It was later sold to Shirk & Snider, and in turn sold to Ayr Co-Operative now operating as U. C.O. Ayr Branch. Surviving are sisters-in-law Mrs. F. A. (Priscilla) Hicks and Mrs. T. L. (Beatrice) Hicks both of Toronto; nieces Misses Hazel and Mary Hicks of Chatham, Mrs. J. (Ruth) Clarke of Simcoe, Mrs. B. (Beulah) Price, Corunna; nephews Lloyd D. Hicks of Corunna, Rev. Roy F. Hicks of Toronto and Gerald Hicks of Agincourt. Twelve great-nieces and nephews and seven great-great-nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service was held from the D. J. Robb Funeral Home, Sarnia on Tuesday evening, February 23 at 7: 30 p.m. with Reverend Thomas Redpath of Corunna United Church officiating. Interment was made Wednesday (today) in Ayr Cemetery.
