  Miss Mary Edgar One of the district's highly regarded elderly citizens, Miss Mary Edgar, died at the home of her brother, William T. Edgar, Bute St., on Saturday. She was in her 80th year. A daughter of the late William A. Edgar and Catherine Deans, she was born on the "Hill Farm," west of Ayr on the Blenheim-Dumfries townline, now owned by her nephew, Cameron Edgar. Miss Edgar was a lifelong resident of Ayr and district, and a valued member of Knox United Church. She is survived by a brother, William T. Edgar, of Ayr. A sister, Mrs. Robert Morton, and two brothers, Matthew and Allan, predeceased her. The Funeral The funeral was held from the home of her brother on Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. W. D. Goodger conducting the service, assisted by Rev. J. W. Currie. Interment was made in Ayr Cemetery. The following were pallbearers: J. Morton Guthrie, Wm. G. Edgar, Norman R. Morton, Cameron Edgar, John Edgar, Paris, and James Edgar, Paris, Friends and relatives were present from Windsor, London, Gorrie, Listowel, Molesworth, Paris, Brantford, Galt and Toronto.
