  Isabel Cressman Isabel Louisa Cressman, died peacefully at Nithview Home for the Aged in New Hamburg, on Saturday, January 15th, 2000. Formerly of Kitchener, she was born in Wilmot Township 84 years ago, a daughter of the late Leander and Jessie (Oliver) Cressman. She was a member of Nith Valley Mennonite Church, RR 1, New Hamburg. Isabel had retired from the Ontario Ministry of Health where she was a registered laboratory technologist. After her retirement she volunteered on medical teams in Central America and also volunteered at several area schools. Dear sister of James Cressman of RR 2, Petersburg, Allan Cressman and his wife Velma of New Dundee, Marie and her husband Ken W. Shantz of New Hamburg. Isabel will also be missed by her sister-in-law Kay Cressman of Ottawa and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Robert, a sister Margaret and her husband Clarence Cressman and a sister-in-law Irene Cressman. Cremation will occur and there will be a memorial service at Nith Valley Mennonite Church on Sunday, January 23, 2000 at 4:30 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Keown officiating. There will be no funeral home visitation. Spring burial of her cremated remains will be in the Blenheim Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements made through Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg.
