      NEW HAMBURG, Feb. 25 - A former resident of Haysville, Clarence Tye, died at Sedgewich, Alta. The remains arrived here Saturday morning and were taken to St. James' church, Huron Road, where the funeral services were held followed by interment in St. James' cemetery.

      The deceased was born at Haysville about 59 years ago, a son of the late Robert C. Tye, who operated the farm now owned by Ephraim Baer. The late Mr. Tye went west about 35 years ago. He is survived by his widow and one daughter, three sisters, Mrs. P. A. Ballingal of Galt, Mrs. G. Osborne, Brunswick, N.J., Alice Tye and one brother, Howard, in Alberta.

      Rev. R. C. Pitts, rector of the Anglican parish, officiated.
