- Heidelberg - The death of Mrs. Philip Conrad, occurred at her home near Erbsville on April 28th. Deceased was one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of this section. She was born in Germany in 1827, and in 1851 Was married to Philip Conrad. About 1858 they moved to the farm on which she died. She had a family of nine children, and 30 grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive her. The funeral took place Wednesday May 1st and was largely attended.
