• Notes

  Mrs. Christian L. Kropf of 58 Archer Place died Saturday after a brief illness. She was 77. Born in Wilmot Township, she was the former Barbara Habermehl, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Habermehl. She lived in Centreville for many years before moving to Kitchener 50 years ago. She was a member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, the Friendly Circle and formerly a member of the Centreville Women's Institute. Her husband died in September, 1961. Surviving are two sons, Clarence and Lloyd A., both of Kitchener, a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Viola) Korrac of Parry Sound; a sister, Mrs. Jacob (Katie) Sauder of Breslau; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon Thursday when removal will be made to Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church for service at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. James Reusser. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. Donations to the Women's Missionary Association memorial fund will be accepted as expressions of sympathy. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 25 Nov 1968
